In case you're wondering

I'm still working at the New Era as features editor. I'm 33 weeks pregnant. I've gained 20 pounds so far and anticipate a few more. My feet are swollen. I'm due August 11, which happens to be my 7th wedding anniversary.

I feel pretty good, but I wake up pretty cricky in the morning! Once I get going, I can waddle up and down my street for miles, especially if I've got someone to talk to on the cell phone or in person. But I don't exercise as much as I should.

I've no weird cravings. Chocolate certainly isn't a weird craving. But I do often get a hankering for various ethnic foods. But that was always the case with me!

I'm leaning heavily toward natural birth, but I know the hospitals kind of coerce a lot of moms-to-be to have drugs... which leads to a whole host of other medical interventions. Pray for me and this little one!

Hi, Emily,
You look so pretty in the picture.:)
Do you have enough maternity clthes for work? If you need some, let me know.

Good for you on your plans to have a natural birth! I stumbled into your blog when I googled for images of Hematite Lake. Then I was captivated by your foodie posts. People who appreciate good food are few and far between in this part of the country! But as a mom, I had to comment on your pregnant picture (beautiful!) and your birth plans. Way to go!
